In 1984, Wayne MacDougall decided to make a career change, and he and his business partner, Robert Dempsey, founded Western Maine Insurance. In 2003 Wayne sold his business to Steve Avery who changed the name to Lennox Capital Management of Maine, LLC. Today, Wayne supports the continued growth of the firm in a consulting capacity.

He has 28 years experience in the Insurance industry and
has his license in Life & Health.

He graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a Bachelor degree in Education and was an instructor in the education industry from 1962 through 1984.

He lives in Rumford, Maine with his wife of 39 years. He has two daughters, Kerry and Kathy; and four grandchildren, Celia, Nathaniel, Avery & William.
